A halfway house is a living facility for people who are in the midst of overcoming drug addiction, in hopes that they can reacclimate to society in a newly sober state and discover ways to live a positive and fully abstinent lifestyle. A halfway house provides services to offer beneficial assistance and reassurance so that the individual in U S A F Academy can build up the self worth needed to obtain the knowledge and tools with which to find success outside of rehab without the use of alcohol or drugs as a crutch. A halfway house offers a person the opportunity to reintegrate back into society at their own pace, while at the same time providing the crucial guidance and therapy to have success in their lives once drug rehab is complete.
