Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab facility that works to deal with drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health issues which may possibly be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in rehab participates in various rehab activities and methods in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem.
